The local tourism corporation Rivijera is – amongst others – in charge of the main beaches in Opatija and Lovran. A worldwide unique concept of „Green & Art“-Beaches has been created by Brainswork, combining local art with environmental consciousness and a better grasp between different cultures. The development has allowed the city to resurrect the charm and glamour of bygone days and advance again to a favorite summer destination.
